  1. add stuff like a fade in from an all black screen with a title , on a short simple mpeg file, and possibly add some music , and probably brighten up the video a little....can anyone direct me somewhere i can find this info?

    I use Adobe Premiere and the title maker in Premiere. Also drop the video on Video 2 so you can edit it.
    Drop an mp3 on the audio track.
    Use the expand collapse track and click on the red line to edit the fade in and outs. Takes some practice.

    The title maker is real cool. You can do rolling credits and all sorts of cool stuff. It does take practice to get in the swing of it. And it is very addictive to do so as well.
    The same concept apply's for the expand collapse on the video timeline, but like I said, use video track #2 to edit your videos.

    If you are looking for a free way to do this or a cheap program, I dunno , for what you want to do I have never seen an ap that can do video and audio fade in and outs and titles like Premiere, however I have never really looked because I love Premiere and Photoshop. Maybe someone knows of one that does.

    yeah it is the same. 7 is Cool but not for me. I am just so used to 6.5

    Here is how to make a Rolling credits title.
    Load the title maker.... be patient...
    click FILE > NEW > TITLE...



    Click the ROLL in the TITLE TYPE drop menu



    That is pretty much it, it also takes some practice , here is more help on it...

    The Adobe site has some tutorials on this as well, you should catch on fast just from what I have just shown you.
