  1. I have a client who's given me her demo DVD and wants the movies put on her website in QuickTime format. I believe the DVD is region-free.

I'm *not* on OSX, I'm on Windows XP and I don't know where to start. I'd like to convert it from the DVD to MOV in as few steps as possible to preserve the quality.

I've checked the tutorials/guides but I just don't understand them. They seem to have a lot of extra steps I wouldn't need and I'm not trying to burn it back to disc. I'm unfamiliar with alot of the terminology, codecs, etc. Can anyone walk me through it?

Convert to avi with something like Dr. DivX(eaaaasy). Convert the AVI to MOV with Quicktime Pro.
