Hello. I've been lurking here for a couple of years and learned a ton from you guys. I've taken up all this video stuff as a hobbie and gotten relatively good at it. I just wanted to thank all of you for all the information. I do have a direct question for you guys though.
I'm a police detective at a Dallas area police department. Mostly thanks to you guys, I've been given the assignment of putting together and working the video enhancement lab. I've pretty much got it all up and running, but I believe I need a TBC. My question is: Which TBC is the best for my purposes? I'm running mostly security videos, usually VHS, into the computer. These tapes are almost always horrible quality as they are reused countless times and the originating vcr's are not maintained at all. My captain has approved pretty much whatever I tell him we need, but I don't want to go and just spend all the dept's money on the most expensive one if I don't need it. Any advice on this sure would be appreciated. Bonus: You'd also be helping me catch some bad guys.

    Thanks again

    Kyle
