  1. Having downloaded 550Mb of American Beauty out of 650Mbs. I thought I'd take sensible precautions by making a backup copy of the DAT file in the "My Shared Folder". Having just had my computer crash, to my horror I noticed that DAT file in the shared folder had dissapeared. No problem I thought... Just copy the backup back into this folder. Did this work?? Did it heck!! Please, please, does anyone know how I can get this to resume?? I've been using a 56k modem, and the idea of starting all over again is unthinkable

  2. O.K. My technical knowledge is crap, so I don't know why this works, but I've found a solution! The only way to get your file working again from the backup is as follows:- 1.Search for file again (in this case American Beauty) and start a fresh download. 2. cancel download when it starts, and completely close down Morpheus (this is important otherwise it just says "source file in use". 3.Paste in the old backup DAT that you hopefully had made at some point. 4.Rename it so that it carries the same file name as the one that you just aborted. 5. Sit back and gloat... Your download should resume again and you have not wasted 3/4 days of your life
