    i just dl a file, right, and the file said it was 1.5gb, why would it be more than 2 gb when i unzipped it...just curious, its an .iso file...

    Just guessing, but ...because Zip is a file compression program?

    i know that, but the zip file size was 1.4gb, ithink the iso came out like to 2.2gb, that difference is what im wondering about...holla back

    My guess would be the audio and IFO/BUP files.

    Compression rate is totally dependant on the content of the file.

    I created a 50Mb file filled with only the character '1'. Then sent to a compressed file and the zip was only 50kb. That's a 1000:1 compression ratio!

    At the other end, try zipping a zip file and the outcome will actually be larger...
