    What is AC exactly.

    Is dolby 5.1 like AC3
    Can a AC3 stream be played on a Dolby 5.1 system.

    Yes its Dolby Digital - its also the scond entry under A in the Glossary.

    Cool, good to know, thanx

    so if i connect my dolby 5.1 system to digital out (SPDIF) connection of my PC, i should have my DVD's or divx (with ac3) in surround sound.
