    Hi

I am trying to author a DVD and like MF3. However I'm really struggling with getting sound on my movie.

I have created .m2v files for the video and created ac3 files that match the video. The ac3 files are 192 2.0 DD. They play OK and TMPGEnc DVD author recognises them properly. I first tried with 5.1 DD files and thought that it was the surround that was causing problems.

However MF3 will let me select the ac3 files for each clip, but does nothing with them afterwards.

Any ideas on how to do this. Can anyone confirm that if I multiplex the video and audio together that MF3 will ignore them and let it through. I have do not re-encode compliant files ticked.

    Any help is appreciated.

If this is the demo version then the AC3 is not implemented in MF3

I'm creating them from Vegas 5, using "render as".

  5. Hmm.. have you tried keeping the m2v and ac3
files seperate (or demuxig them) and adding the
video to MF3 first, then choosing
replace soundtrack and selecting your ac3 file?
