Making a video for an english project, and I was only able to capture with one channel (left channel). For some reason, when I export from Premiere 7 with any codec, the audio has a weird sharp sound for high frequencies. I've rendered in uncompressed as well, and still the same thing...

Any recommendations on a different audio codec? I've installed about 3 other audio codecs, and none show up in Premiere. It doesn't do this when I preview it for some reason though. Also, the explosion sounds have two channels, just when he is yelling there is one. It did not sound like this when exported from Studio 7, and the un edited versions of the file which used the PCM codec (which is not listed in Premiere)

Here is the clip (in 3vix to keep it small, not sure which audio compressor I used on this render)

I was told that if I took the audio how it is, when I burned to a DVD it would be corrected. This doesn't sound right to me because I have reencoded the video in Virtual Dub just to see if it would do anything, but there was no change. I have also tried to normalize the audio, but that didn't seem to do anything.

I'm in desperate need of help, as this needs to be burned tonight at some point.

    Thanks!

I'm thinking your camera is the problem. Maybe? Did you check to see if your audio is capturing in stereo on the cam?
