Right here's the story...I have the above laserdisc player hooked up to my (Old) Win TV PCI card, with the latest BT Wincap drivers.
Playing a PAL or NTSC laserdisc is not a problem...both formats are quite happily accepted and can be captured by Virtualdub.
Wanting to get a 'cleaner' source for VHS as well as LD I purchased a CTB-100 Time BAse Corrector.
It's connected to the LD player via S-VIDEO IN and goes to the WinTV card via COMPOSITE OUT.
PAL captures are not a problem, they look wonderful and can be captured no problem with the above.
However when I put in an NTSC laserdisc no matter what settings I choose on the TBC or in the capture driver set up I CANNOT get a stable picture.
In the capture settings I've tried NTSC-M, NTSC-MJ and PAL-60 and on the TBC every single setting and still no stable picture.
It's either black and white or shifted to the top half of the screen.
Is there any way to get round this with this TBC and LD player or will I just have to not use the TBC when capturing NTSC discs??
Any help/advice greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Waylander
