  1. Hi,
When I am trying to capture the last few pixels are not captured properly as if there is a tracking problem. No matter what I try, different resolutions, different capture progs, mpeg2, mpeg1, avi...tried everything.

    Anybody encountered this problem.

Capture Card AverDVDEzMaker PCI on a P3 933Mhz

    Thanks in advance

What last few pixels? At the top, at the bottom? Sides?

More information is needed if you want help.

What are you trying to do exactly? And do you have a screen grab showing an example of the problem?

Generally the last few pixels (rows) are a bit of an unused area.
I have several capture cards and they all produce scrambled video in the last few rows - I'm sure it's in the stream.

When capturing from TV, I get about 6 rows at the bottom scrambled, and when I capture from VHS Tape, I get about 10 scrambled rows.

I just mask or delete these during encoding - I think you'll find that it's fairly normal.

I agree with LS, it sounds like what you are describing is video that will be hidden by the overscan when you make a dvd. All VCRs will some have some amount of this effect. Does it look like the last few lines at the bottom of this screen cap? If so, don't worry about it.
