  1. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

I'm trying to join 2 avi files using virtualdub P4. When I select the "append avi segment" option and add the second avi file I get the following error message "the audi streams have different sampling rates"

I've had a look on Google and one solution was to use virtualdubmod but it didn't tell you how.

Is there a way around this?

    Thanks in advance

  2. You need to use VirtualDub to take the audio out of one of the AVI segments (save it as a WAV), then use your favourite audio editor to change the sampling rate to match the other file. Use VirtualDub to re-integrate the audio with the video on the altered segment, and you should then be able to join them.

    Good luck,

Use goldwave to extract the audio tracks from each AVI as a .WAV. Then join them into a single file, and resample as 16-bit 48 KHZ.
