Help.. svcd to vcd/mpg

Is there a way to convert svcd to vcd? I know that it will degrade the quality but I need to make my files smaller. Please help

You want to make your files smaller?
Well svcd to vcd is not the way to go-
check this out, first, if your dvd player supports xsvcd, just re-encode with stream type as mpeg-2 program vbr

Now i have never tried to encode svcd to vcd, but i've done vcd to svcd.

Sometimes i care bout helpin people who have questions like- how do i encode?

but then sometimes i'm just like, if this guy is too lazy to open a web page to read, he's gonn abe too lazy to encode so forget him
