After sending my video card in for RMA I decided to see if anyone had any horror stories. Alas, I found one: http://forums.rojakpot.com/showthread.php?t=11686&page=2 I haven't been all there the last couple of days, but I guess taking a picture of my card before sending it in would have been a good idea. Just wondering, has anyone ever delt with Power-Color's RMA before? This is probably really vague, and random, but thanks for any information. :P

Once I had a PowerColor sound card but that's about it. Never RMA'd them anything.

My advice: send your package with some kind of delivery confirmation; it is only about 55 cents more and that way, it is harder for them to say they "never go it".

888888: I sent it Priority Mail through USPS, however, the USPS site is down and has been for the last couple of months, so I cannot track my package.

glockjs: I paid around $350 for video card with gaming in mind, considering it doesn't work with Doom 3, Counter Strike: Source, and most likely Half-Life 2, I don't think I got what I payed for. :P

Update: I sent the card out on Saturday the 2nd, they recieved the card on Tuesday the 5th and sent a brand new card out the same day. Overall, I'd say they were good people to deal with.

PowerColor is actually one of the leading video card manufacturers and while their products are cheaper than some, they are not a "value" brand.

Just wondering, what would be the difference between a Power-Color made card and an ATI made card, just who assembles it? They were good people, the only problem I ran into was the language barrior.

They were also very lenient. When I first purchased my card, I was getting some work done to my computer the following day. So I took the serial number sticker off from the video card, and on placed it on the table, so I could register it. :P They let me tape it back on and send it in.
