  1. i have windows xp home edition. when i bought computer it had fat32 hard drive. i had a cd disc which reboots the computer meaning it wipes everything out the computer bringing it back to factory settings. If I changed hard drive to NTFS would i still be able to reboot the computer to the way it was before?

Yes, but why would you want to go back to Fat32 when NTFS uses the hard drive more efficiently?

After restoring, convert the drive back to NTFS.

By rebooting, you actually mean restoring.

In the computer world rebooting means to restart the computer.
