    Good Morning to All:

Some time ago I purchased DVD XCopy but just got a DVD (Plextor) burner recently. Everything was fine for a while. I was able to burn several DVD's, then, all of a sudden, the copy to DVD would hault. The Rip went just fine but the burn would freeze totally. I tried to get help from 321's tech support but, as you know, they are no longer in business. I was very happy with the burns I got from DVD XCopy and would like to continue to use it. Can anyone tell me what's gone wrong?
When I contacted Plextor about the problem, they gave me a two software solution that didn't work very well. I was told to Rip using DVD XCopy, create and name a folder on the desktop, find and drag the video and sound files into the new folder, the burn the DVD as a "Data" file using another software. I used Roxio. It burned alright, but the DVD acts funny. It begins in fast forward mode then stops several times while the DVD is playing, or freezes when fast forwarded.
What is the very best solution to my DVD burning problems? Will I be able to fix and use DVD XCopywhich I loved? Is there a better DVD Rip & Burn solution available? I need your help guys.

    George
