    I am a cop. Our terminals in our cars run on Winnt. One of my dickhead fellow officers, for a joke, made all my desktop icons disappear. Also, I cannot right click on the desktop anymore and when I drag an icon from the quick launch bar to the desktop, it disappears as well.


    Please help!

    Right click on a blank area on the lower taskbar and then left click on "Show the Desktop"

    Two pieces of advice:

    1] Ditch windows NT and upgrade to (insert any OS from the last 15 years here).

    2] Ditch those Ford Clown Victorias and upgrade to the mid 90's model Chevy Caprices with the LT1 engines in them....

    Ok, that's my attempt at humor for the day...

    Actually, it is the LT1 Caprice.
