When I burn an Xvid as a data disk on cd as suggested on previous posts and then play on my pc the disk spins quite fast throughout the film and is noisy. If I burn as an image I can mount in daemon tools. However I can't find a suitable tool that converts an xvid file to an iso image file. The best I can do so far is either 1.Burn the xvid as data with nero on cd then convert that cd to an iso with undisker and then burn this iso and then I can mount with Daemon tools.
2.Convert the Xvid to an image with Circle Virtual CD which creates its own .HDV type file. I then have to mount this image in Circle virtual CD in order to play. I cant burn this as an image with nero because it is an unsupported file type so would burn as a data except it is now too big to go on CD (gone from 712mb to 910mb in the conversion)
    Any ideas?

  2. Nero has an image burning feature. What you do is set your "burn to" from the burner to image when asked. At least it is this way up to 5.x of nero.

Yes I have nero 6.3 and I can burn an image that plays ok, however if I burn an avi as an image the resulting file is not supported by windows.
