    Hello,

Did you know that a simple handheld calculator that has the multiplication, division, and square root capabilities, does more functions than the punch card computer (that was housed in a large 3 story building) the government funed $800k for in the 1940's. It only added and subtracted large numbers. Another $300k was given by the government to get it to multiply and divide a year after it was created.

Excuse me, I had a chili-dog with cheese.

Will the Plaintiff please step up and plead his case?

[Tommyknocker]It is under my physical observation and that of several innocent users of the videohelp.com forums who witnessed something so vile, so despicable, so repulse. We witnessed a...THREADJACK!

    [loud gasps from the courtroom]

[Doramius]Would the defence care to make a statement?

[Cobra-holding his nose]Your honor, I only said I found the fact to be random. I did not know that it would stray the topic from it's original thread.

[Tommyknocker]I object your honor. We have witnesses and proof that Cobra, AS A Moderator, has willfully done this before and has done this sort of thing intentionally.

[Cobra]That's not true. I found myself going to other threads and seeing the last post only, and then replying only to it. I didn't know these threads were already falling away from the original thought.

[Doramius banging gavel]ORDER, ORDER! The objection is overruled. We are dealing with him starting the Threadjack, not him becoming involved in a threadjack after it has happened.

[Tommyknocker]Your honor, I believe his credibility is worth very little.

[Doramius]That's a mighty strong accusation there. Do you have the ability to back it up?

    [Tommyknocker]Again, your honor, Cobra is a moderator and must follow....... {PPPffBeeeAAaarnnnt-PFFFHHOOOOOOOT-Pfoot-pfeet}
[Doramius]Damn, lactose intolerancy. [throws gas tablets into mouth]

    Continue.

[Tommyknocker holding his nose] Uh, Where was I?

[Doramius]Stenographer, could you read the last 2 statements back?

[CoasterCreator]-That is a mighty strong accusation there. Do you have the ability to back it up?

-Again, your honor, Cobra is a moderator and must follow

[Tommyknocker] Ah yes, And must follow the rules all
the rules by which the forum is run.

[Cobra]But it's the Off Topic Forum and I was the one who created the topic.

    [Doramius] Is this true?

    [Tommyknocker] I.. UH...uh. Yes, it's it's true.

[Doramius]So an Off Topic Thread which the defendant reated in the Off Topic Forum, created by the defendant, was threadjacked by the moderator who initially created it. Is this correct?

    [Cobra] Yes, Your honor.
    [Tommyknocker]That is correct.

[Doramius] I then declare these proceeding dismissed. The courtroom will now be cleared immediately, as I just ripped another one that was REALLY warm, and I've got to go to the bathroom right away.
Tommyknocker: Okay, what just happened in there?

Paralegal: I'm only a paralegal, but I'm going to got out on a limb here and say you got your ass kicked.

Tommyknocker: And how much do I pay you to be so astute? I'm asking because if that's all you have, I can downsize your smart ass and not miss a beat.

Paralegal: That won't be necessary, Chief.

    Tommyknocker: Okay, what you got?

Paralegal: We can appeal on the grounds that no thread creator is above the rules. That being said, we can say that anyone who was banned for anything they said on a thread they themselves created was banned unconstitutionally.

Tommyknocker: Nice. I like it. Take tomorrow off. We get the appellate process started Wednesday. I hope Cobra realizes he's not done with me yet. Heh heh heh.

I believe all Tengen games were not licensed. I remember playing Ms. Pac-Man that was not licensed.

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

  9. Tengen's version of Tetris was also not licensed. There were Biblical games too that were not licensed either, made by a company called Learning Tree, I believe...

What helps me remember is that the cartridges of Tengen games were the only ones that were different (I might be corrected on this). They were black and shaped differently than regular NES cartridges.

Did you know: I only post the classic way with my own personal flare. Oh wait, that's just gas.

Bringing me to my next DYK.

Did you know: Sleepy Hollow is an actual place in Upstate NY where there is an actual tale about a headless horseman and is on a federal list labeling it as one of the most haunted places in the US?
