  1. Bought a brand new dvd today and when I went to copy it with dvd shrink the program just shut down, so I tried using dvd dcrypter to rip the files onto my computer then copy them like that, but instead of just shutting down dvd shrink says it encounters and error, it does not say what error though. Any ideas, could the disc have some kind of feature that prevents it from being copied ?

    What versions are you using?

    You may need to upgrade.

    More info is needed.

Try with DVD Decrypter again, but this time take a screen dump of the error and post it here.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Why, dvd decrypter worked fine.

The error message just says dvd shrink encounterd an error and now must shut down, it happens like 5 seconds in to the encoding phase.
