  1. I am using After Effects to make a title I can use at the beginning of my personal DVDs (Like MGM, 20th Century Fox, etc) that runs about 15 seconds. I want to tack it at the beginning of my DVDs. I've had no problem with After Effects, but I need to convert it to mpeg or .vob to use it. I am creating the AVI (no mpeg in AE) in 720x480 format. When I convert it to NTSC DVD compliant mpeg in Vegas, the aspect ratio is always off. The composition has a large circle in the middle that always looks like an elipse when rendered.

I know it probably has something to do with pixels (square or not) or aspect ratio settings. I know enough not to use 4:3 (vertical elipse) or 16:9 (horizontal elipse). I've tried every option given in Vegas and the circles either come out as horizontal or verticle elipses. Any advice?
If it works, don't fix it.

If you use the DV templates in AE, you should not have any problems. This will set the appropriate resolution and pixel size for you. Vegas shouldn't need to change anything if this is correct.
