is there a program that will let me type in a time to record like 15:00 to 17:00 so i can cap programs wile at work?

Hi DarthBooker,
iuVCR works on Win2K and WinXP. That has a timer.
There's also PowerVCR II - not looked into it, so don't know if it has a timer.
Look under "Capture" in the "Tools" section for more...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

I have made macros with MacroMagic and then use Windows' scheduled tasks to control the times for start and stop. Works well.
If in doubt, Google it. -
I use VDStartPro in conjunction with VirtualDub. Integrates nicely with VDub and has never let me down (I only use it with WinXP SP1).
