I have switched to the slimline(save room) cases for dvd's. I am wondering if there is a program out there for these thinner cases so I can make labels inserts. There must be an easier way than what I've been doing. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

P.S. I've tried Acoustica and it does not do it.

I have photoshop as well. If you would post the template that would be great. Thanks for the replies. I'll also look at Sure Thing. I am running out of space and the thin cases seem to be just fine for me. Thanks again!!

  5. Here it is. Its pritty simple. The spine is marked and has a boarder to trim. I ususlay use Epson 8x11 heavy weight paper.

Need to rework the double thin pack case due to an error in it.

  6. And example of it. Yes a lot of placement of art but the template helps in getting thing settled.

Uses a 1 dollar hobby knife & cutting board. Along with a metal ruller is a simple cut and go. Do recoment curve cut the cornners. It helps in sliding it in.

  9. Good luck with it!

On hint. If you are doing liners for let say a series. Do a generic boiler plate. With spots to indicate what on it. All that get changed are the two small pix and the test. The rest stays the same.

My DVD collection is approaching 3,000 and space is a big issue. I use these for single discs:

    http://www.beststore4u.com/item.php?nav=item&code=bx10

and I print my own labels on plain printer paper using a template I created in Pagemaker:

They're sized so all I have to do is cut them out and slide them under the label retainer tabs on the inside of the front cover, and a little piece of cellophane tape keeps it in place.

Multiple disc movies get a 2,4 or 6-cd jewel case. Why use a larger "DVD" case when DVDs are exactly the same size as CDs, and these slim CD cases are dirt cheap?

The cases end up looking like this:

  11. I use the standard size jewel cases for my DVDs.

Anyone know how to label the spine of slim jewel cases?
