    I purchased DVP642/37 with firmware version 0531. I wonder if it is the latest firmware.

    I am looking for a random play on mp3 on either CD or DVD. it is a hassle to go thrught the folder list and pick the song and u know, it cannot the folder name in other languages.

    does the random play feature is on the latest firmware??

    You have the latest firmware dude. Feedback your problem to Philips and hopefully, they come up with a newer firmware.
