  1. need help, trying to copy vcd, i have a copy of tombraider, the dics it came on didnt work on my dvd player so i want to burn it to a dics that does,
    so far i have had no luck,
    could it be because my pc's dvd player is a region 2?
    can some one shed some light?

    1.) Are you sure your DVD Plays VCD's?
    2.) If it's a pressed (commercial) VCD it should work if yuor DVD player plays VCD's.
    3.) If its not a commercial VCD there is not region coding that effects copying.
    4.) What disc copy program are you using?
    5.) You can extract the *.dat file from the VCD and generate a new mpeg with VCDgear. This newly generated mpeg you can authorize into the normal VCD specifics with Nero etc.

  3. I don't want to make a judgment of you. If this is the movie release you are talking about then wouldn't it be less aggravating and time consuming if you wait for the home video release in November. Four months not too far away. Then you could have a better quality copy to rip from?
