  1. Hello all, I have posted about this before and got told to look at the guides! Fair enough but I cant find a guide that is relevent to waht I want to do.

Anyway, although a very simple thing, no doubt what I want to do is going to be a complex op unless anyone on this board knows different?

What I am trying to do is split a music video into short clips of 10 seconds
I have succesfully done this using an mpg/avi splitter and now have about 18 clips from the video. Now though I want to take each clip one at a time, remove the audio completely and replace it with brand new audio,

I wouldnt call myself a total newbie but what experience of working with video and audio is very limited.

Also, the finished file must still be an mpg and not any other format.

If there is a guide for this that you know of please tell me, failing that some guidance would be really be appreciated

If you have the audio already done for each clip you can multiplex it with the video, in tmpgenc under file->mpeg tools->simple multiplex and choose the mpg video and the new audio(must be mp2, you can convert it to mp2 with ffmpeggui).

If you want to cut and edit the video and audio you must use an advanced editor like mpeg video wizard ( mpeg editing).
