  1. do you know how I do this I used to know but I haven't used 98 in such a long time, I think the program to install it is on the 98 SE disc but not sure can you help me ?

  3. I had to manually install my laserprinter, maybe I can help. What I had to do was get my printer to print out its DCHP assigned IP et al. I then opened up printers, went to new, and added a new port, entering the TCP\IP specs based on what the printer had. It then worked fine. You may be able to adapt this to your fax.

    I think he was referring using the fax feature. It creates a 'fax' printer that you can print to just like any other, but when you print it allows you to fax the document using your fax modem, no hard copy.
    Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
