Hi guys
I have a dvd -/+ re-rewriter. When I use dvd shrink to back up a disk, either fully ot in part, it plays fine in my stand alone dvd player. However, when I encode a movie and try to burn it, my dvd player makes squeeking noises and says "no play".
I use TMPGEce to encode, and it used to work fine on dvd-rws. Since I got this new drive, it simply wont work for disks I author myself/ I have followed all the guides about encoding for dvd format, and it always fails.
Anyone any idea where I could be going wrong? seems strange how backing disks up with dvd shrink works, but making my own doesn't anymore. I dont think its the media, as the dvd shrink method works
Any help would be great
Thanks
