uhhh at 200mhz i would keep it simple and use the least amount of programs you can just so the machine can run

Acrobat Reader, for dealing with PDFs on the web. It'll be slow, but then Acrobat Reader is still slow on systems 10x as fast so that's hardly a reason not to install it.
Something like MS PowerToys or X-Setup might let you adjust some things that slow the machine before you turn it over to your friend. I thought Windows 98 was a pig even at 800MHz.A man without a woman is like a statue without pigeons. -

dumpt it it is her spare computer I think, she did have 95 on it I just finished putting 98 SE on it.
Thanks for your info I'm not messing with it any more piece of crap.
It was a Itel Pentim Pro runs pretty good though for a 200 Mhz with 64 MB Ram and being a dell. -
