when I am doing conversiobs from DVD files to AVI, it appears the selected compression/output size is not working properly. It seems that no matter which of the 3 options I choose - CD/DVD disk size, file size, or compression quality, it seems to almost always choose compression quality, with a few exceptions, and this when I have selected one of the other 2 options. This happens whether I am compressing from a stroe-bought DVD or a home-made DVD.

Any ideas or suggestions on why this is happening and how to correct it will be appreciated.
