  1. After a year and a half of burning all my videos onto CD's using Videp Wave I finally got my hands on Premiere 6. No significant issues yet. My question is this: What file format is recommended to capture in? HD is not an issue so I have always captured AVI. Do I have option on the file format that I can output? Obviously I'm still learning the basics with adobe. i rendered a short clip (3 min.) and noticed that it is not avi anymore. Adobe called it "Adobe Premiere Project". I would like the best quality possable to burn with. Unfortunatly I burning with Adaptec so I can only burn vcd vrs svcd. My last question (this time) what are my options for file format with adobe and what are my advantages with each.

    Thanks much

hmmm not in front of my 'puter right now - this is from memory.

You need to select "EXPORT TIMELINE" option . The select "MOVIE". From that select your codec. Codec's offered will only be the ones in the plug in folder.
OR get "AviSynth" and frameserve to TMPEGEnc (my method)
