I have a file, and it has a .srt file, which is subtitles. I can't get the subtitles to show up on my computer. Also, If i were to convert the avi to dvd, how would i get the subtitles to show up? The only way I know how to convert a media file into a dvd file is by using nerovision, can i use nerovision to do it? if not, then how?

install vobsub. rename the subtitle to the same name as your video file but the with extenstion .srt, example video.avi and video.srt. the subs should now appear in most software video players.
and if you want the subtitles on a dvd just use dvd2svcd(avi2dvd) or diko or the filmmachine. click on them for guides. you can not use nerovision.
