  1. Has anyone backed up Star Wars: Episode II successfully, with all menus, on one DVD? I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I tried using Shrink to still-image the extras and also to custom compress the menus and extras, but the movie looks like garbage (and only yielded me about 61% shrink-compression). I tried following some guides for IFOedit in order to remove the 2 angles I didn't need in order to use Rebuilder, but for some reason the movie refused to load after I completed the IFOedit steps. I also tried DVDReMake Pro, but the same thing happened - when I burned the DVD it would not initiate either on PowerDVD5 or my standalone.

If anyone has some tips or some experience with this, I'd appreciate some input. I finally broke down and used DVDFab to just do a 2 disc backup, which came out perfect, but I'm still perplexed on how to get it to one DVD.

  3. 2.2

I right-clicked on the main movie VTS, it gave me the option to pick which angle I wanted to keep. I chose 1 for English. Then I exported a Test DVD and it worked fine. So, I went ahead and exported DVD, but when I went to play the resulting files, nothing happened.

I'll try again, maybe I mixed something up. I'm wondering, is it even possible to get this onto one DVD, including menus but no extras, and have it looking decent? Obviously I will have to use Rebuilder & CCE, which is why I need to strip the angles. Oh well, I'll give it a try. Thanks!

I thought it would be 2.2 . I will not accuse you of using 'warez' as only you know whether you have a registered version or not but the version you have has a 'known' issue

try getting the latest version (2.5.4 I think) and chances are your issue will disappear as I know that a few users of DRM have stripped this DVD to the bone keeping only one angle. Some specific model standalones did have issues when stripping angles but I think that was finally fixed in the latest version

yes you can get it all onto 1 DVD and it will real good with DVDRB/CCCE

DVD-Rebuilder is now in version 0.65 wich supports multiangle processing.

Works like a charm: I have backed-up Episode I with RB+CCE keeping all the structure and the angles. The structure of Episode II is similar so I think it would work too.

To get the version 0.65 of Rebuilder you have two options:
    - Donate and become a VIP, you will receive RB latest version(and the following revisions) in your email as soon as they are release
    - Wait for 30 days after the release of the VIP version, when that version will become public and freeware. (Currently you would have to wait for around 20 days for the public release of 0.65)

  6. @pg55555, where did you get DVD-Rebuilder 0.65, as far as I was aware the current version was 0.64a.

Ignore my question, I should really start reading all of the posts

I backed that one up a long time ago with DVD2one full backup. Looked good with no problems at all (ripped with DVDDecrypter)
