  2. First you should probably understand what the VCD and SVCD format specifications are, refer to:
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcd.htm
    and
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/svcd.htm

These specifications are what Nero looks for, if your mpeg file does not fit those specifications, then it will warn you about it (as you found out).

You can either let Nero re-encode your mpegs to the correct format then burn. Or you can do it in another program, then burn with Nero.

  3. hi...i have tried both reencode or ignore standard
    neither works..
it starts to burn...but never ends..just stop at the start point..why is that so?

  4. this is what it says...

    "The following problems were found:
-stream encoding which is invalid for a (Super) Video CD.

You are creating a Video CD V 2.0 (CD-i Player)compliant CD,but the MPEG file is not suitable for such a disc. How would you like to proceed?

  5. ok. if it won't re-encode in Nero, then generally speaking, the mpeg you have is of a "poorer" specification / quality than whichever you want to burn VCD or SVCD standard. In this case, it is probably not worth persuing it and find something of "better" quality worth burning. Because, even if you eventually get it in the end, the play back quality may be of poor quality and you have wasted your time and efforts.
