    Ok, alright, may sound like a stupid question... since my player plays both NTSC and PAL I was wondering if there's a difference in VCD quality when comparing the two systems.

    Here on the comparison charts between the mpeg softwares the system chosen is PAL... So, are the results in PAL actually better than NTSC?

    yes true -- i hate the flicker of pal ...

    but it does have better resolution and color ..
