I had a Mpeg2 file that I demuxed because I want to use uncompressed audio when authoring a DVD for compatability reasons.
I use the M2V file for the video, then I take the original MPEG2 & put it through VirtualDub & extract a WAV file. I then run that through Audacity to remove some low end hiss.
When I select the WAV file in Tmpgenc DvdAuthor it rejects the file beacuse it is 44.1 instead of 48hz audio.
How can I convert the audio from 44.1 to 48hz? ( I was using hardware MPEG2 to capture the video & the only audio option was MPEG layer II)
thanks

Why not use the filters in VirtualDub, then just select Audio>> Conversion>> Sampling Rate>>48000 hz. Then save WAV. Or extract in VDub first, then run thru Audacity. Good luck.

Thanks, never played with VDub enough for audio issues - did't realize it could be done that easily.
