nero won't run or even reinstall because of old virus proble

i love nero. it even told me i had a virus on my computer when i ran it. so i got rid of the virus. i tried running nero, and it told me i should uninstall, then reinstall it because the executible file was corrupted from the virus.

so i uninstall Nero. i even delete the registry entries.

i redownload nero. i run the installation program and the installation program tells me:

program error:
The executible file has been corrupted.

i try it again and again. i delete the temporary directory. i redownload the file. no luck. same error over and over. someone please help.

i would back up your computer files and format
and reinstall everything. to make sure the virus is all the way gone. if you dont know how to format email me and i will send you detailed instructions.
