    ok, in one post here a person claimed to be able to play regular cd's on his apex dvd player,
    now I have a dvd/vcd/mp3 player from sanyo,
    its a sanyo dwm-370, does anyone know if I could do anything like this with my dvd player?
    I tried it and it didn't work, but mayby thier some special way for it to read a regular cd-r?

    What kind of cd do you want to play? (VCD,SVCD,XsVCD,MP3CD)
    If your trying to play a DATA Cd,your nutz.

    if you are playing a data cd your going to make weird sound on your speakers and video and it might hurt your lens but if you are playin media disc then you okay
