How can I backup a DVD created using Pinnacle Studio 8 or 9. I no longer have the raw files. I'm able to rip my personal movies (commercial) using SmartRipper, DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, but none of these programs seem to work when I try to rip a DVD created with Studio.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, you have a DVD which you created from personal tapes/files/whatever with Pinnacle Studio. You are wanting to back this DVD up or wanting to put those files onto your harddrive.
Since this wasn't a commercially created DVD, there wouldn't be any type of encryption. It seems you could just copy and paste the files from your DVD onto your harddrive using Windows Explorer. No need for a ripping program. You could then create a VIDEO_TS folder and have it burned back to a DVD using whatever burning app you have. -
It doesn't copy the whole DVD contents, but I can work from here, it is just a matter of creating a new project in Studio.
Thanks. -
You can just do a disk-to-disk copy using Nero, RecordNow, Roxio Easy CD/DVD, etc.
