i have an MSI@nywhere card in my system. however when i capture, even at best quality, the video has a little fuzziness to it, like a static pattern . Quality is sort of like dubbing a VHS on EP mode.

Is that the best it can capture?

its not even when i record. just watching the tv its like that. its not bad enough to distort the picture but i see wavey line running thru the picture sometimes. very lightly.

This doesnt appear on my tvs so im wondering if im doing anything wrong here

since you have the same card i have this other hardware issue. you might know. my remote controller wont work. i tried numerous batteries w/ no result. Do you think its the remote? or the thing that you point the remote to? or maybe its the card altogether?

    Do you have that problem?

My remote worked once and hasnt worked since,i think its poor quality control on that issue,as to the distortion you see on the screen can be a weak signal coming from the cable in or computer generated noise.Does the picture look better when you use composite video in from the vhs using a good quality signal?

there is no vcr/vhs hooked up here, i just have cable in, and s-video in from my ps2.

I guess its certain channels. mainly the national channels believe it or not. majority of the cable channels work excellent.
