When I enable progressive mode and play a DVD with film source, will it reverse the pulldown and playback 23.976 fps?
if nott here will be NASTY combing with the tv set to progressive.....
My TV suports progressive, is it stuck @ 29.970 fps, or will it do 23.976 fps?
TV's that say they have 3:2 pulldown correction, do they just stupidly blend the combed pulldowned frames and make it lok like crap?? Or wil it do inverse 2:3 pulldown and not require a progressive player???\
(Ive never had a p[rogressive tv before, and I need to know al these things to make sure my DVD playback is a s good as it can be.

Wil the dvd player in progressive mode reverse the pulldown and play 23.976 fps, or wil the tv detect it and do it?

if your dvd layer can do it -- it will do it ..
if your dvd player can not do it - your tv will do it , assuming that your tv really can do it (some sort of fake it or just resize everything to 1080i)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
