  1. hi all, i hope this post is in the right place...

    ive authored a dvd and wanna burn it to disk but i keep getting this error message


    device error - sense code (302 00) - no seek complete - read DVD error 197120


    no i have no idea what that means but i am completely pissed!


    please anybody offer words of wisdom...

    ive also tried tmpgenc author and encore and all say some kind of error!

  4. Depending on how advanced you are, I am not, I use burn4free to burn my dvd's. You have to make an iso file first then burn the iso file, but I have yet to have a problem. You could try looking on the Nero website for error messages. This maybe a little far fetched but have you ever used those specifec type of dvd's before? May try another brand. But as long as the file / or movie is dvd compliant, you shouldn't be having any problems. Just a few possabilities that came to mind.

    Is your burner a DVD+R, DVD-R, or dual format (both + and -)? If it's a DVD+R burner, you can only burn DVD+R disc. If it's a DVD-R burner, you can only burn DVD-R blank discs. If it's a dual format, you can burn both + and - DVD blanks.

  6. i got a duel burner, and the same disks i always buy


    ritek printable DVD-R grade A

    ive tried almost every disk in the pack, colud it be that the whole batch is currupt.
