  2. If you read carefully, for video it can capture up till 15fps only. May be suitable for security and webcams but not good for capturing movies to make VCDs, SVCDs etc.

    For 150 US you would be better off with a Studio DC10+

    pr-guy it has just plain jana BT878 or new Conexant Fusion 878A video decoder chip on it depend on when it was made and it only good for 640x480 at 15fps video capture without frame drops jusk like the all other BT878 capture card.
    Videum 1000 or Videum 1010 can do 640x480 out with any frames drops and it using a diff higher end video decoder chip.
    In long run your better off buying a Hardware MPEG2 encode.
    For thoses you that don't know (Thomas) Sean Connery (MoiveStar) son Jason Joseph Connery own this company at least I think he still dose.
