i have been putting various file types to dvd using nerovison which is all fine except for 1 problem
when im using the dvds in a stand alone player it wont allow me to search through the disk (fast forward) it will either skip to the next video or put it back to the begining of the disk it does this no matter what the original file type was i.e. AVI or MPG etc
its very frustrating how can i make my disks searchable
plz help

Have you created chapters?
You have 2 options:
1. create chapters automatically (recommended)
2. create chapters manually
Do you have the recent version of NVE?
I have created dozens of DVD's with NVE, but I never encountered the trouble you refer to. -
yea i have latest nerovision
its not chapter skip i want its fastforward like on a video recorder -
You need (X)-frames in your video to fast forward (X is either B or I) .. cant think how you would create video without these tho.

Anyhow, I haven't had that problem with NVE.
Could it be your player ? -
There is a non-official demo version of NVE3.
If you are using that one, I advise you to download the latest official version NVE2:

and give it a try.
