You're confusing time with the capacity of your CD. You should be more concerned about the size of your mpg instead of its length. You can make a three hour mpg file that can fit a 700MB CD by using a ridiculously low encoding bit rate. It would be awful to watch but it can be done.

You can use Nero to create a VCD if your mpg is MPEG1 or a SVCD if your mpg is mpeg2. Select New Compilation, click the VCD template, then drag and drop your mpg file into the MPEGAV folder. Nero will then encode the mpg and author VCD files to fit your media.

  6. Or make a 1/4d1 dvd eg vcd res but mpeg2 .. still use VBR on your encode... can look better than mpeg1.. or just use a lower than normal bitrate on your mpeg1 vcd, eg 1020kb/sec rather than 1100 and it should fit.

(its just historical artefact that mpeg1 bitrate "fits" a Cdr time wise.. old VCD players could only spin the disc at x1, thus determining the max bitrate)
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.
