  1. I was wondering if there any chance that I can convert ogg audio file to MP3 or WMA? Or, at least is there any way or tools available that I can use to create Audio CD from ogg files? I run search and unfortunately did not find anything related to these questions. If this subject has been discussed before, please post a link to that topic.

Any suggestions or just thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!

  2. Unless you can find a burning program that directly imports .OGG files for burning, I'd just use a program such as dbpowerAMP and temporarily convert your .OGG files that you want to burn into uncompressed .WAV files, so that you don't sacrifice any more quality. Don't convert from OGG to MP3 just to burn, as you'll lessen the quality of the files because of the extra lossy transcoding involved in doing so. I have a lot of MPC files and if I ever want to burn an Audio CD I just make copies of the files in .WAV format and burn, then delete the .WAVs.

  6. I've never used Audacity before, but it looks like any typical audio editor such as what I've used before. Definitely don't bother with converting to MP3, you'll just be degrading your audio that much more, as I said before. Audacity would let you convert to .WAV files as I suggested before, dbpowerAMP has a very easy interface and is an awesome program in general, IMO. I've used it for years and it is a very quick and easy way to convert from one format to another, without sacraficing the ability to make use of all of any given compression format's settings. You can just hold down CTRL and select every song file you'd like to convert and burn, and dbpowerAMP will batch convert them all at once. It makes the process extremely simple.

Thank you steve2713 one more time!
I'll definitely try your suggestion. And yes, convert ogg to wave sounds more rational to me too. I appreciate your thoughts!
