I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9 to upload my analog video to hard drive. It's working great but even a short clip is too large for email purposes. And zipping it up doesn't take it down that much. What's the best format to put a clip in for emailing and any suggestions on a converter? Thanks.

Convert the clip to MPEG2 or MPEG4. Look here for the converter:

I'd personally suggest using VirtualDub to open it up, then convert it to a low-resolution, low-bitrate DivX file. That will compress it down nicely.
You will find VirtualDub where Capmaster has pointed you to.
Best of luck!

Windows Media Encoder is free....and probably the easiest to open for even the most computer-challenged....like my brother. I send him Windows Media stuff all of the time.
OR....follow what the other two have mentioned....
