mpeg files are playing with an annoying logo over the top of them www.darim.com I loaded a new codec, but the darmin one is still defaulting. What is the codec named, where is it and how do you get rid of it.

You could do delogo with virtualdub. Just do a net search for "delogo".

All I can suggest is to run regedit.exe, then do a search for "VIDC". There is a location in your registry, somewhat similar to this key here, "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32" that shows which video codecs are loaded. You can either see if you can identify the offender and delete it, or you can start changing the name of the installed codecs one at a time to find the problem codec.
GSPOT will give you a list of the installed video codecs on your machine, and can be helpful in finding the problem codec's name.ICBM target coordinates:

The problem isn't in the video itself. The codec is placing the logo over any video played at runtime. The want you to buy there non logo version. I just want to replace it with another codec.
