  1. Bought a "cheap/basic" Splitter Amplifier yesterday wanted to give a little enhacement on TV capturing.

    On the first few trial, I found the picture quality worst than without using amplifier.

    Then after few more tries (like adjusting the gain control switch), I can only hear the "background sound". All the voice from TV was lower almost you can't hear it.

    The picture just look like normal.


    Can anyone tell what had happen to my card? Did I just fire it?

  2. Not only happen on TV input, from the AV composit input as well!!!

    When try to input from VCR, the sound was very low even you turn the volume to high.

    If I capture it (huffyuv/PCM), the picture all right but the sound, like "come from far away". (Sure dosen't sound alright.)

  3. btw, i had already remove the Splitter Amplifier.

    It's seem like it damage my card, is it possible?

    It was the speaker cable causing the problem.
