hi,
i am brandnew in here. hopefully you experts can help a newbie out... i'm just trying to make my first VCD/SVCD steps.
ok, i got a YAMAKAWA 780 standalone-dvd-player (capable of playing vcd/svcd/xvcd). i tried to make some vcd's and scvd's. vcd's do not seem to be a big problem. but i am really havin problems here gettin a svcd to run on my dvd.
i used tmpgenc to convert *.avi-files to svcd. does not seem to be a problem so far, cutting is easy as well (i use BBMPEG). but my dvd does not play back the finished svcd's.
i use win on cd 3.8 power-edition to burn my cd's. is it any good? should i buy another burning program?
other question: my friend bought DVMPEG. does anyone know about this program? isn't it possible to encode audio and video at the same time with this program?
ok,
that was enough for now.
thx for your answers.
cu ksk
