On another message board, a poster suggested that one could archive dv-avi files as data onto a dvd; thereby storing approximately 20 minutes...

I have tried to do this with dvd-r discs but with no success.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks

Yep, UDF should work but not iso mode because it has a 2 GB file size limit(you could split the files though).
